2021 Vintage Port 140

Baileys of Glenrowan is one of the pioneers of winemaking in North-East  Victoria, producing its first vintage in 1870. Since this time, the region has become world-renowned winemaking region. Baileys of Glenrowan continues to be recognised today as a world-class producer of full-flavoured red and luscious fortified wines.

This VP140 is a modern take on the traditional Australian fortifieds, created from a selection of premium sourced Portuguese grape varieties, that are blended with Shiraz as a nod to our heritage. This produces a vintage fortified that celebrates over 140 years of history and winemaking craftsmanship.

WINE MAKERS NOTES

Ripe, luscious and aromatic, this wine displays dense layers of liquorice and aniseed, offering a rich yet supple palate framed by tight tannins. Its intensity and drive promise great ageing potential, while its versatility allows it to shine both as an aperitif or alongside robust pairings such as blue-vein cheese with quince paste, or even decadent chocolate truffles.
